Escorts

• An escort will meet you when your bus arrives and help escort you from your busses to warm up through after your performance.

Warm-up

• You are scheduled for 30 minutes of warm-up in either Warm up area A or B.

• Please be sure that your band faces away from the stadium, and that your students DO NOT play their instruments other than during this warm-up time and during the performance.

• If your drum line would like to warm-up prior to the assigned time, they must play on pads.

• The use of amplified metronomes is prohibited during warm-up.

• Due to the close proximity of the stadium to our parking area, your assigned 30 minute warm-up block is the only time you may warm-up.

• Importantly, please do not use wireless microphones in your warm-up to prevent signal interference with performing bands.

• Both warm up areas are practice field sized and large enough to accommodate a visual warm up.

Band Stadium Entry and Exit

• You will enter the field from side 2 and exit the back corner near side 2.

• Bands will enter and exit out of the same stadium entrance so please follow the instructions of the stadium guides to ensure smooth flow of traffic.

Storage and Changing Rooms

• Your buses and support vehicles must serve as your storage and changing areas.

• Please instruct your students NOT to use the restrooms to change!

• The interior of Marquette High School will also not be available to use for changing clothes.

Food

• The Marquette Band Boosters will have our concession stand open throughout the day with many menu items to choose from along with a coffee vendor and kettle corn available for purchase.

Directors Hospitality Room

• Included in the packet you receive upon check-in at Marquette will be wristbands that may be used for access to the Hospitality Room.

• The Band Director’s Hospitality Room is located in the Marquette Commons, which you can access from the school’s left-side main entrance.
