Jazz Band meets during zero hour.  Wind players and percussionists must be a member of concert band, symphonic band, or wind ensemble to be a member.  Pianists, guitarists, and bass guitarists do not need to be a member of the concert bands to participate. 
 
Jazz Combos are small group (3-6 member) extensions of the jazz ensembles.  All combos meet during class and emphasize jazz improvisation. 

All jazz groups perform at various school and community functions, two concerts, and 3-5 competitions.  The groups of the jazz program have won and placed in many competitions.  If you are interested in these groups, sign-up for zero hour Jazz Band. 

Auditions and band placement are done during the first weeks of school.
