MEET OUR NEW ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF BANDS

We would like to introduce our new Assistant Director of Bands Kaylin Knost.

Ms. Knost graduated from the Lindbergh School District in 2015. She went on to get her Bachelor's of Arts in Instrumental Music Education K-12 from Lindenwood University. She studied both flute with a classical emphasis and alto saxophone with a jazz emphasis. During her time at Lindenwood she graduated Cum Laude and was awarded the Lucette Stumberg Flanagan Award in Fine and Performing Arts given to one female in association to their excellence in musicianship. Ms. Knost has been an active educator in St. Louis for years. She began her teaching experiences between Lafayette High School and Rockwood Valley Middle School during her student teaching. Since then, she has taught within multiple school districts throughout the St. Louis and St. Charles regions. Her passion for teaching and music has now brought her to Marquette High School, where both of her parents also taught early in their careers. She is extremely excited for the opportunity to work within such a warm and welcoming environment!
